Growing up as a boy, I was taught to hate homosexuals in general and homosexuality specifically.

It took me to thirty years of age before I could stop hating myself for being gay.

It took Brokeback Mountain for me to actually love myself for the first time in my life.

At forty-four, thank you for the wonderful gift.
