oh, and i think my handle goes without explanation, but it's one of my favorite lines from the short story, what ennis calls jack (and his horses) and it was inexplicably left out of the movie.

I think they were drunk! My name was supposed to be Carmel after Mum's cousin. When I was born with an extra feature Mum had to do a rethink and plucked Raymond out of the carpet sampler chart or some such bizarre source. I've never been fond of the name in its entirety. It was always my in trouble name. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAYmOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!! My sister, (second sibling down the line), finally scored 'Carmel'. AAAAAAAAAAand to make things worse, my father decided that since Mum had the say in my first name, he was entitled to choose my second..., after his favourite SISTER! What chance did I have? Honestly?! So my name is Raymond Leslie, (Mum insisted on a variation of the spelling, she didn't want me growing up sissy..........HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAgasp!) In my Thesbian days I thought it would be cool to take the two parts of my name that I detested and stage-name myself Mond Leslie! Imagine the parts I got with that moniker!
When I signed into IMBd I was totally Comp illiterate and pressed 'send' before I got a handle on what they were asking, so they defaulted me as Auschwitz ray-390, Pink triangle tattoo and all. When i came here, I found no reason to hide my already foolish identity, so I stayed Ray! It's easier to read than Rasputin!
