I can't watch the first, no copyright for my country. >:(

milomorris:
I've only watched the first 2 so far. Its kinda like drinking alcohol-free beer.

1. Thie Jack doesn't make it through the entire emotional journey of the scene. He seems stuck in sad mode. If the Ennis could stop smirking, he might get something like a relevant emotion across.

2. This Jack is just plain bitchy. He doesn't seem connected to Ennis at all. When Ennis collapsed, Jack's initial reaction reads like, "Oh puhleeeze." And the only himt of anger we get out of Jack is when he delivers the boy about the short leash. This Ennis was clearly going through all the emotions of the scene, but most of it could have been more pointed. He did an OK job.

I'll get to the rest eventually.

Video 2 is from UCLA. That Ennis was played by Tom Patrick. I think he has a lot more experience than any of the other students in these videos.

Continuity alert: I don't think Ennis would have been drinking Amstel Light in 1967 in Wyoming, and that plastic butane lighter wasn't around at the time.  :D
