This is so cleverly written. I first read it several months ago, when it arrived in my in-box where I work, in a large teaching hospital in Sydney, Australia. I enjoyed it so much, I saved a copy to my BBM file  ;)

I have only recently found my way to BetterMost and feel privileged to meet you here, the author of this clever, touching and funny piece  ;D

It is amazing to think of this ending up in Sydney, Australia and who knows how many other hospitals around the world. I did hear that some big high muckity-muck in epidemiology at a hospital in San Francisco got a copy and thought it was hysterical.

As I come up on my first BBM anniversary (Dec 27th) I can tell you honestly, the fever still rages.
