Go Tell It On The Mountain - a review/analysis from 2010

Thanks for posting this, it still makes me a bit teary to think of these scenes. I agree, every word - the universality of the feelings of love, what it means to be a man in our society, fatherhood, gender roles - all of these things resonated so much. This is one of my favorite films ever. "Go tell it on the mountain", to me, is not the traditional meaning of the song - but speak up, talk about it, don't keep silent, and live. :)
