Benedict Cumberbatch is now filming The Imitation Game, the story of Alan Turing

Here we go again.  On another board I'm currently arguing with another person who has told me that in a movie about a man who was homosexual whose tragedy was because of the persecution he was subjected to because of his homosexuality, it is absolutely not necessary or desirable to actually SEE any homosexual activity from the main character - whether a kiss, a hand holding or sex scene.

I'm like really?  I mean really?

Hello,

I've been away too long.  Been really caught up in various fandom boards on the summer movies.  ;D

But fall is now here.

I guess she won't be watching anything 'visual' .

But her attitude is just wonky.  She thinks she's being perfectly logical.

I think she's being perfectly insane.

Front-Ranger:
I guess Benedict was smart not to attend the Emmys last night. He and most all the other Brits didn't win anything. The strong showing of American dramas was blamed.

He was busy shooting in London, otherwise he might have been. But it didn't make sense for him to fly all the way out to LA for one night.  He was only in Toronto for 3 days before he had to fly back to the UK to start the filming on Turing.

But just as well.  American TV is too strong in quality and popularity right now for the odd Brit to win no matter how good.
