"Vicious": British comedy with Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi

Sason:
I've seen the episodes that are available on Youtube.

It's quite funny, although I think I would eventually get tired of hearing them insulting each other non stop.

I probably would, too. That was what finally turned me off Will and Grace many years ago.

The interesting thing was, at the time Will and Grace was having so much "insult humor," our local Public Television station was running As Time Goes By, and I remember thinking, How different! As Time Goes By was still funny, and yet nobody was insulting anyone at all.

CellarDweller:
I definitely found it funny.  My mom occasionally enjoys "Britcoms", so I think I'll have to pick them up, and play them for her.

Sason:
I enjoy Britcoms too. Over the years we've had a lot of them on Swedish TV , and they're usually very funny.

When Monty Python was on for the first time in the 70s, those 30 min was the highlight of my week!  ;D

CellarDweller:
Never liked Monty Python, still don't.

I appreciate britcoms more now that I have British friends, and can "get" more of the terminology.
