I hope all of you had a lovely Christmas break whether you celebrate or not, and brought in
the new year with love and optimism. I’m really looking forward to creating new and exciting
Jessica On Paper things for everyone! I’m going to be finally producing those badges, stickers,
and greeting cards I’ve had on hold, attending print fairs/conventions later in 2016 and
taking your commissions!
In December the orders started flowing in and had my first personal drawing commission;
all took me a little by surprise if I’m honest! It really made my Christmas merrier and 2016
look that much brighter, especially as I was working retail for the whole season, bleurrrrrgh!
Time to get back to real work ;)

Okay…. I think it’s finished. I’ll look at it again with fresh eyes tomorrow.
Ben Whishaw is to me one of our finest young actors, and the scene this
picture is from was a beautiful moment of acting in the recent BBC show
London Spy, and I haven’t done it justice!
My painting will be made available in my Etsy shop as an A3 print this week,
