Tip for you, go to a drugstore like CVS or Walgreens.   Go to their candy aisle.  They usually have smaller sizes for sale.  Or check their "seasonal" aisle.

The bags you talk about from the grocery stores are usually 11 or 12 oz.

I've done a quick search, and I can see smaller bags of 3.5 oz or 4.2 oz, so they're out there.

There are so many different varieties of the candy corn, aside from other flavors.

You have original, the ones everyone knows.

Then there's Harvest Corn.

Pumpkins

Scary Shapes

and "assorted mellowcremes" that are in combined "autumn and Halloween" shapes.

It was looking at the packs in my CVS that inspired my post. Even those smaller bags still looked too large. CVS had the Harvest Corn and the Pumpkins as well as the regular Candy Corn.
