I LOVE JACK when he responds to every single time Ennis pushes one of his buttons, teasing him, especially the quasi-rodeo ride and the harmonica.

(This is related to Rodney's latest post).  I love Jack for recognizing that Ennis really needed some humor, goofiness and lightheartedness in his life.

     I loved Jack and his eternal ability to "shake it off"  move on ie.  The Thanksgiving quarrel with L.D.

I love the close-ups of Jack's face when he lovingly looks at Ennis ride off. I also love when he puts his head down in the DE, love how he tells off L.D., and I love when he says to Lureen-"I never gave any thought," after she asks him why husbands don't never want to dance with their wives.

I love how he was willing to take a chance to live the "sweet life" with Ennis regardless of society's homophobia.

I also love the fact that he was a nice and caring young man.

for his strength, and in the same time, his weakness,

to choose living such hard  life in order to keep the love of his life.
