For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches with isolated amounts near 6 inches and ice accumulations up to around one tenth of an inch. For the Wind Chill Advisory, very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 15 below zero.

Hmm....I can't help wondering if the warm blankets isn't a mistake...
He's reptile, so cold-blooded. The blankets would prevent the heat from the space heater to reach him, not help heating him up.

good point...I don't think they kept the blankets on him, though, just until they saw him move around.
