I know nothing about any Hudsons, I solved the blue category because the were all first names  )

That's what I did, too. I figured three first names that don't have alternate meanings must go together, and then of the remaining words, ROCK seemed most like a name.

I had trouble with the yellow and purple categories today. Kathryn, I'll bet you didn't!

That's flattering! I got the yellow OK but I didn't get the purple and I took a wild guess on the blue.
