Dearest Richard:
I love you, and always will. I now know that you were meant to be in my
life. I know you are happy and content, in the place you are. You can be
seen trying to make others understand the import of living your life to the very
fullest. You did so, and I know that you are so very happy that you did. You gained
so much to impart to others, and so much that helped you make the decisions that
helped you live a much happier life. You met all the wonderful people and helped
your treasured daughter live and attempt to live the remainder of her blessed life.
With all the benefits that you were able to give her, with the dear love you felt for her.
She really can never have the true idea of the love and caring that you had for her.
You treasured her every moment and deed. You also shared the beauty that she had
with all of us. For that, we must eternally thank you. I love you dearly, and hope to
meet up again someday wherever that may be. Our time with you was way too brief. mama Janice
Front-Ranger:
Let's all plan something special, perhaps with a loved one who we have neglected lately, for Pine Creek Day, November 7. I'm planning to have a short getaway with my spouse to the mountains, to drink a little Western Slope wine, check out the tacky memorabilia in the Colorado Hotel and hit the hot springs at Glenwood Springs, Colorado!
Penthesilea:
No matter how many years have passed, Pine Creek Day is a sad day.
I wonder what Ennis did that year. If he took off from work? Worked overtime? Got drunk? I don't think he's a guy who puts much importance to dates, to anniversaries. But he must have thought about their trip on that first Pine Creek Day.
