Didn't Ian Fleming write Bond like that to begin with? He was supposed to be a dark, no-nonsense type who has no qualms killing .. And this Bond was PURRFECT for that ..

I remember when word first came out that Daniel Craig was going to be the new Bond. I thought, "Cool! Maybe I'll actually go see one of those movies!" People pooh-poohed the choice and I said, "I take it you haven't seen "Layer Cake." (BTW, RUN, don't walk, to your nearest Ballbuster and rent that sucker STAT - "sexy" doesn't even begin to cover it.) And they'd say, "No. Why? Good?" And I'd say "I remember liking it, but mostly I remember those eyes."
Yep. He'll do just fine. When does the next one come out? ;)

Oh, I am so gonna rent Layer Cake in the very near future! :D
People were skeptical about D. Craig's ability to pull off Bond .. that and "he's not tall enough" .. or .. "he's blonde" yadi yada .. I hope they all get a chance to check out this movie .. I think he has staying power! 8)
The next Bond comes out in 2008 or something like that! I can't wait that long!!! >:( :-\
