Four reasons you should go see "Casino Royale"
David:
I kinda missed the old Bond gadgets and clever sarcasm. Sean Connery had that great way of delivering the corniest of one liners, but they worked.
And yes, I kinda though the bad guy had a bionic eye or something. LOL
And don't tell me that the first thug in the Bahamas didn't look like a bad version of Michael Richards. (Kramer from Seinfeld!)

Very true. Noticed it too right away and prefer it! I liked th beginning credits a lot actually. Loved the design.
Yeah, and what was that thing about the super modern car and no airbags? A goof?
Anyway, I liked "Casino Royale" a lot! I can't say I'm a huge Bond fan, but I think I've seen all Pierce Brosnan Bonds in the theatre (but never again on TV) and two or three of the Moore and Connery ones.. But when Daniel Craig was announced to be the next James Bond, I knew I would never NOT go to see that movie!! I did know about Craig and liked him well before the Bond announcement, but it did trigger my curiosity and I made sure to seen a few of his pre-Bond films. It confirmed that Craig is an amazing actor!
About "Casino Royale" - true, there were some scenes dragging a bit, but the 144' minutes didn't seem to long at all! I liked the fact that there were almost no gadgets (not that I dislike them, but I didn't miss them either). Beautiful locations, yes! I didn't mind the longish Poker scenes. And yes, I agree with whoever said they didn't buy into the Vesper-James relationship. There was something very artificial about it, though I liked the shower scene! Very moving! Le Chiffre just excellent as the villain and Judi Dench - perfect! Love her. Adore her!
Can't wait to see more of Jeffrey Wright (in the next Bond or elsewhere!). There are rumors that "Bond 22" (2008) will include some gay scenes and somewhere I read that Jeffrey Wright's character will be Bond's love interest... ?! In any case, I'm not against any gay scenes in the next Bond film. It would explain the lacking 'lolling-around women' in the opening credits.. And there was some homoeroticism running around between Bond and Le Chiffre, you can't deny that!! :P

Yeah .. I heard the rumours too ..
Here is what wikipedia says about the next Bond movie..
Broccoli also confirmed that Bond 22 would be a continuation of Casino Royale. Daniel Craig may have hinted at the direction of Bond 22 when he stated that the events of Casino Royale would lead Bond to "go out for revenge." [4] Craig also implied this during an interview on Parkinson on 2 December 2006. If true, Bond 22 would be the first true 007 sequel ..
Another protagonist possibly returning is Eva Green's character, Vesper Lynd, as there are rumours that she may appear in a flashback/video scene.[6] [7] There is also much speculation, that Jesper Christensen's Mr White will appear in this film. In the final scene of Casino Royale, Bond confronts White in a remote location and wounds him in the knee before confronting him. It is unknown what action Bond took afterward. If White survives and returns, he would be the first villain to feature in more than one EON Productions film since Jaws. Additionally, it is also possible that Rene Mathis could make a return considering his true loyalty and fate is unknown by the end of Casino Royale.
According to Daniel Craig, Bond 22 will be about going after "the threat behind the threat", a direct quote from the final chapter in Fleming's Casino Royale.
So at least these are things we know for sure! :)
