Just walked by my son's room
vkm91941:
and this was playing on his stereo. Reminded me so much of Jack and Ennis it brought tears :'( to my eyes...::sigh:: Anyone else around here old enough to remember this song by Art Garfunkle...
I bruise you
You bruise me
We both bruise so easily
Too easily to let it show
I love you, and thats all I know
And all my plans
keep falling through
All my plans they
Depend on you
Depend on you
To help them grow
I love you
And thats all I know
When the singer's gone
Let the song go on
There's a fine line between
The darkness and the dawn
They say in the darkest night
Theres a light beyond
And the ending always
Comes at last
Endings always
Come too fast
They come too fast
And they pass too slow
I love you
And thats all, its really all I know
Its all I know
Its all I know

Aloysius J. Gleek:
Well, I am.
Vicky, I haven't heard or thought of that song in decades, and reading your post, I can hear that high, clear, sweet voice singing "and that's all I know--"
Sure is beautiful--
Very Ennis'n'Jack--

I don't think I know the song, but I love the lyrics. Fits very well with Ennis+Jack.

Yep, John I was sure shocked to here it come from a 16 year old...but he's really nostaligic for his Dad lately and that album was one of Stephens' favorites. Dave says it makes him feel closer to his Dad to play his favorite music.
