New York Magazine 's The Fug Girls
Track the Fashion Evolution of Michelle Williams
From the Dawson's Creek years to the Oscar red carpet years.
Ten years ago, the idea that Michelle Williams — then known primarily as the girl on Dawson's Creek who wasn't Katie Holmes — would have three Oscar nominations under her belt seemed as inconceivable as Joey Potter marrying Tom Cruise. And yet here we are, gleefully anticipating what Williams will wear on February 26 when she attends the Academy Awards yet again as a nominee for Best Actress (all while we also wonder whether Mrs. Cruise is having any regrets or what-if tremors). Exactly how, or when, did the girl get from Capeside to Chanel couture? We won’t lie: The road was long, and often colorless. Join us as we stroll down a Michelle Williams memory lane. Bring a hanky; those Brokeback days still wring us out.

RouxB:
She is quirky for sure and frequently ends up on the red carpet worst look lists but on on the best dressed lists in her daily garb.
ifyoucantfixit:
Quirly is the perfect description. She needs to have a stylest. One that could tell her, when she has made bad choices. She is so petite,
it is hard for her not to look like a little girl. Specially in a short dress. She is truly pretty, and a consumate actress. But her legs are not her
best feature.
RouxB:
I think her legs are fine, she just has weird taste. Dowdy I think.

Michelle Williams is "not over" Heath Ledger's tragic death.
The actress is said to be still grieving four years after the Hollywood star passed away following an accidental prescription drug overdose.
According to sources, the My Week with Marilyn beauty hasn't moved on after losing her "soulmate". She is believed to have struggled to celebrate her Golden Globe win as it coincided with the fourth anniversary of Heath's untimely death.
"Michelle still loves Heath, and there isn't a day that goes by that she doesn't think of him. She's not over it," an insider told OK! magazine.
The pair had met on the set of Brokeback Mountain in 2004.
In 2005, their daughter Matilda was born but Michelle and Heath separated two years later despite being engaged.
Heath was only 28-years-old when he was found dead in his hotel room in January 2008.
"Michelle and Heath hit a rough spot, and they decided to take some time apart," the source added. "It was really sad because they still loved each other and Matilda."
