Merci, thanks Br. Patrick !
Glad may I say again that you took that pic! Instead of saying tribe, may I ask for you to say simply Nation... please. The Italians is not a tribe, it's a Nation; the Irish is not a tribe, it's a Nation; the Americans are not a tribe, it's a Nation! You understand?
First Nations in America have been here for over 6,000 years, as proofs are now being found that might be over or about 10,000 years, at the beginning of civilisations - and maybe were here before or same time as the being as Africans were starting to be so-called humans ! ?
As for moi as some blood lines, far as known Objiwa is one of the First Nations!
And another, especially on mother's side is the First Nation Montagnais !
Did you get their names of these two you met?
Au revoir,
hugs!

No, I only chatted with them briefly. I am sorry of my misuse of the word tribe.. I asked them as well. I'm certainly not Irish-Croation 'tribe.' Thanks for the lesson! We have so much to learn from all of your Nations.
Forgive me, and thanks because I know you do.

Merci Br. Patrick !
Yes, thanks for your openness!
I think that you are right about learning from all the Nations!
However, it seems that much remains to be done, since most do not still care about the First Nations ?
What can one do ?
How is it that such tents (T-pees) were many there ? Was your sleeping in one ?
Au revoir,
hugs!

The 'tents' (T-pees) did have First Nation's residing in them for the 3 day festival. Here is a representation of the original inhabitants of Kenosha, WI (from Kenozia - meaning pike (fish)).
