You know you're a Brokaholic when...

Kd5000:
When you've incorporated BBM slang into your daily English.

WHen your watching the rodeo on ESPN, checking out the cowboys, wondering if one of them is a "Jack Twist."

When you don't wanta go see any movies because a new standard has been set. Few films ever deliver at that level. Now going to a film seems more like going out to Burger King for dinner.

Front-Ranger:
Sure enough, KD

Becky:
LOL Karl, you make me laugh! Especially the last one I was sat here watching the Little Mermaid last night and I was just sat here with my arms crossed looking all grumpy and my sister was like, "What the hell is wrong with you? Why are you so grumpy?" I shoffled my feet on the floor and mumbled, "Not as good as Brokeback". She did not believe what I had said cause when I was little it was one of my favourite films and I would never ever bad mouthed it. ::)

I have a few more for the list:
* when your moblie knows how to spell Brokeback Mountain and BBM cause you have written it so many times and it now is in your moblie's predictive text memory.
*When you mumble your family say,"Have you been taking elocution lessons from Ennis again?"
*You boo when you see Randy Quaid movies!

Amen, kd.  Amen.

I used to love the movies. Now there's this upwelling of disappointment everytime I buy a ticket! Its like "well, it can't possibly measure up, so what's the point??"  ???

S'cause a you, Brokeback, that I'm like this... why can't you just lemme be, hunh?

Ray:
Hey Becks.  Did you know that the Little Mermaid was written by HCA as a gay story?  The "Land People" represented homosexuality, and Ariel was a closet.  Ursula was the underground go between (thus the tranny characterisation in the film), and the voice symbolised virginity.  I believe that Hans made Ariel female to give more license to campness without being obvious.

True story.., learned all that at Uni no less!

Perhaps that will help you enjoy the film more next time.  It worked for me.
