here is a NON BBM story I wrote.

Showed it to three friends...got two 'very nice's and one:

"It was obvious and contrived, nothing new, you should stick to talking about chickens, you don't 'have the knack for this kind of writing'"

nothing like getting a review like that from a friend to kill your courage and stop you from writing more.... :P

No, it's not. Sharing your writing is very personal, putting a piece of yourself out there. Constructive criticism is helpful, comments like the one you received are not.

I liked your story, btw. Thanks for posting it and giving us the link.

oh--it's me, twistedude...I haven't even READ the story yet, and I can tellk you, even on DaveCullen, where we are free to say ":this story is horrible!" Nobody is allowed to say "YOU should stick to writing about chickens"! You want to attack stories, go to DaveCullen; if you want to attack people---try the New York Tines!

Now I'm going to read the story...what a creepy comment...YUK!
