Couldn't remember the common way of calling it so I named it diff'rently

Looks like you were right - Some internet sites say she was born in Saskatchewan, but the post office, who released a stamp with her image at the same time as Gordon Lightfoot's (and Anne Murrray and Paul Anka), states that she was bornin Fort Mcleod (yep, that's how they spelled it on that site), but her childhood recollections are (and she is usually reffered to as a product) of the rolling hills of Saskatchewan, thus the confussion.
