That's exactly what I've done. I just finished listening to the greetings again.

It's so great to hear all your voices and it's moving to hear all those I've met at the BBQ.

I'm not sure if I am posting this to the right place, but since we are bringing in the IMDB Brokies, what about the people on the Yahoo groups, Brokeback Mountain and Gyllenhaal? This is where I found out about EnnisJack.com which of course then led me to the BBQ and BetterMost. Just curious and sorry if I am posting in the wrong place.

Front-Ranger:
We've invited them occasionally, but most of this is done thru PMs. I don't think forum moderators or administrators would like us going in and advertising ourselves or openly trying to get their customers to change forums.

Another thought. When we establish our BetterMost community, I would like us to spell out how it is different from "real life" towns (especially those in Wyoming LOL). Some words about diversity, inclusion, and equality. Maybe nondiscrimination. Wyoming is the Equality State but as we know, prejudice is rampant there and there are places where people like Ennis and Jack would fear for their lives even today.

BetterMost is unique even among Brokie sites because, IMO, we don't discriminate among men and women here. I have never felt like a second-class citizen due to being female. We coexist harmoniously and that is one thing you don't always find on the other Brokie boards.

Front-Ranger:
Maybe we need a town charter or some such thing. Here are a couple of ideas for your consideration:

from an Indian blessing:
One prayer: peace
One hope: harmony
One dream: understanding
One vision: love

And here is a quote from Annie Proulx:
"I think this country is hungry for this story. Because it's a love story and there's hardly much love around these days. I think people are sick of divisiveness, hate-mongering, disasters, war, loss and need and want a reminder that sometimes love comes along that is strong and permanent, and that it can happen to anyone. " -Annie Proulx in Forbes http://www.forbes.com/home/feeds/ap/2006/01/23/ap2469409.html

Giving this a *bump*
