Guess I'm getting old because I can't remember for sure.  ???

Anyhow, I loved Eddie Van Halen!  :D

Van Halen rose to fame in the 1980's with the song Jump. The Album to which the song belongs to is called 1984.

99 Red Balloons...I heard a comedy thing once, translating the song into English. Ohmygod it was so hysterical, I almost drove the car off the road.

Of course, it was on the radio, never to be heard again...

Okay, here's a trivia challenge for you, my friends.

What was the FIRST EVER music video shown on MTV?

Bonus points if you know the date....

I have only heard it in English! There was another one in a different language?? Love that line about "Everyones a silver hero, everyones a Captain Kirk"

any song that works in a Star Trek reference is a keeper in my book!!
