I only know that if I clear out my cache, I can still click on the listen button and listen, evn though I am not logged on.

Ok that's interesting. I just tried launching the player without being logged in, and it started right up. It didn't connect though, because I'm at work. But I didn't get the "Sign In or Register" page like I've gotten in the past....

That might be why your stats dropped so much

Scott, let's do a test to see if it logs. Check your PM's for my phone number to call me.

Ok we tested it and you do not have to be logged in to listen. And Live365 still registers and counts the stream as far as # of listeners ratings go.
