Our dear friend John (jmmgallagher) in New York City, wrote to me today. He asked me to say hello to you all, and to let you know that he had a stroke on Sunday, and is having difficulty with talking and writing. He said using the keyboard to write to me was hard. I am starting this thread so that people who would like to can write caring messages to John here. I think he would appreciate simple and short messages right now.

Oh, no! My darling John! I had been wondering where you had got to, boy. I was missing you something fierce. I'm so sorry to hear that this is the reason why you've been away. Thank you for letting Clarissa know what was going on, and thank you Clarissa for letting us know.
