WHEREAS, you have been a Brokie extraordinaire since the beginning; and

WHEREAS, you created the first known list of Brokies in the universe; and

WHEREAS, you have spread the word of BBM throughout San Francisco and beyond, undaunted by having your cowboy hat crushed in Boston in the process; and

WHEREAS, you have travelled many miles to meet with fellow Brokies, by bicycle, by train, and even laying across three fellow Brokies' laps in the back seat of Melinda's car; and

WHEREAS, you deftly acquired the largest BBM billboard on Planet Earth; and

WHEREAS, you shared said billboard, and kept just a portion for yourself; and

WHEREAS, you made it come to pass that June 12, 2006 was proclaimed Brokeback Mountain Day in San Francisco; now therefore be it

RESOLVED, That April 7th, 2007 be proclaimed Pete Tannen Day in BetterMost, Wyoming.
