serious crayons:
The lighter side of the mountain

I love this one!

And Phillip, I second Roland's comment. I am blown away on a daily basis by what you've created here.

I really like  The lighter side of the mountain maybe with a subheading that says something like
"Games, Puzzles & word play of all sorts"

As always Phillip you impress me! I also still LOVE the idea of an art board where those artists amoung us like could display their work for the benefit if all.  Sheyne's and Mandy's drawings, Ray's  cartoons, Brandon's original photographs.  I'm sure their are other hidden artists here at BetterMost as well.

Well, except that "games, puzzles and worldplay" does not describe the ILE series, which is none of the above, IMO.

But an art board would be great.

I disagree just a little here.  The ILE threads are exactly the kind of word play used in threapy, with children especially, to draw out emotions and associations.  A lot of  group counseling, especially in area's such as grief counseling, use this free associative technique.  We use it quite a bit in the hospice setting where I volunteer.

serious crayons:
OK, I see what you mean. But when I contribute to the ABCs or acronyms, they seem to draw on a different part of the brain than the ILEs do, for me. Generally speaking, they're more verbal than emotional.

But your comment is interesting. I guess you could consider all of the threads -- for that matter, all of these forums -- as a form of grief counseling. I don't mean to sound flippant, Victoria, or to equate what the bereaved go through in real life to what BBM viewers experience. But really, I think it's a form of grief, in part, that brings us here. It's like we have to keep working through it, and working through it ...
