Like Anke, I've never seen cakes like these, too. Esp. the first one looks very uncommon to me. I think most people in Germany bake chocolate cake in a rectangular form. It's called "Kastenkuchen"

We have BBQ tonight, too :) But no guests today, just the five of us. 10 minutes ago my kids were playing in the garden like yours.
It was about time for the weather to get warm and sunny.

Thanks, we had indeed. And we're planning a whole day out tomorrow. Watching our eldest playing in an outside handball tournament, picnicing with friends and parents of fellow players, enjoying the sun, cheering like crazy for our girls...
Will be some sweet life ;D
