What is your favorite Holiday?

Now see I am a holiday junkie and I could easily find something to love about ALL of them.   Even the  ones I've
never heard of  :laugh:  but if pushed I have to say my absolute favorite has always been Halloween.  I love to be
 scared (in a safe way) I love cheezy Hammer Horror Flicks.  Vincent Price, Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing are my hero's

Thanksgiving:  the key to happiness is always gratitude.  And I like that families gather without the pressure of having to come up with presents.  It's just complex enough and just simple enough to be the right balance for me.

Also, despite heavy emphasis on the turkey, most of the other traditional foods are easily vegetarian and DELICIOUS.

    I love Christmas the best...I love everything about Christmas, the cold weather, the hustle and bustle of the shopping.  I love buying something special for all the ones I love.  I love the decorations at the stores, and most of all at home...I love putting up the tree, and decorating it with my family...I love the snowman village we put on top of the entertainment center..All the little porcelain houses with the snow, and the lights peeking out the tiny windows....
Yes definately I love christmas,,,Then all the beautiful wrapped packages, and brightly colored bows...It makes me think of family and those that are gone as well..It is a blessing to have the ability to get together for christmases...and i never take it for granted...           janice
