HUH???

I was thinking...so just ANYBODY can get a stop sign and stand out here making us late for NO reason... ::) ::)

You sat there for over TWENTY minutes while a stranger stood in front of your car with a stop sign Jess?

I would have ran over his ass .... or at least threatened to.  >:(

I'm mean, aren't I??

well at first I was all..."Well maybe they are doing something down there..." but the longer we sat the madder I got!

and the thing is that I would have had to drive ten miles or more out of my way if I turned around and went another way...cause I was on the other side of the river!

When I worked at the nursing home, we had a resident there by the name of Hebert Jones. He was a sweet old man. 104 years old. But he got confused sometimes. Once he walked out of the nursing home (not on my shift, thank God) and stood in the middle of Carmel Drive (a farily busy street) and started DIRECTING TRAFFIC!! He was out there for about 10 minutes before one of the nurses noticed he was missing.

Can you imagine that?

One time we found an old man hiding in our garage (when I was young); he had got out of a locked ward of a nursing home....he was hiding from the planes...he thought he was in Europe and still in the war.

That poor man. He must have been scared to death. Did someone get him back home safely?
