Bad Kiddie Movies, Part 2
Mark Jordan Legan revisits the truly dreadful kiddie flick Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny (1972). It's part of our occasional series on the worst cinematic crap that's ever been made.

Ohmigod! My sister and I actually suffered through Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny as children, seeing it at a now-destroyed movie theater in Sugar Land, Texas. Even at the tender age of five or six, I had some inkling that it was bad, and it probably ranks as the single worst film I've ever seen in the theater. Now, if we're talking cable TV, that's another story... :P

Dear. God.

Now that was awful. There should be a law.

Here is a link to a very funny website (the AGONY BOOTH!), which dares to tread in the same waters as Mr. Legan's series:

And yes, the immortal Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny is one of the films treated to an in-depth analysis...so extensive it will make your brain melt.

Ain't irony grand??

The great thing about "Santa Claus and the Ice Cream Bunny" is that it makes a dog like this look like "Citizen Kane."
