If you aren’t dwelling enough on Brokeback Mountain, here are some desktop backgrounds you can download. Now everytime you turn your monitor on, you really won’t be able to quit Brokeback!

These backgrounds are the generous work of nycx, a true believer.

To use these on a Windows platform, simply visit the site below, click on the image you want to use as your background, and wait for the full screen version to appear.  Most people will want either a 1024x768 or 800x600 resolution version.  Since they are not always labeled, you can find out which is which by right clicking on the full screen version and selecting Properties (the very bottom of the list).  A box will pop up with the resolution of the image.  When you are satisfied you have the right image, just right click on it, and select Set as background.  That's it.  You will now find your background desktop image reset.

I'm not sure of the procedure on other computers.

If you ever want to change your desktop back, just right click anywhere on your desktop where there isn't an icon, choose Properties and then Desktop and you'll find a list of available images to choose from.

Wow :o, nycx's outputs are really REALLY good. I downloaded all of them and put them in my PC. ;) I'll see if I can make one with a similar 'nostalgic-nature' touch. Actually, I did a BBM-inspired desktop wallpaper before but the latter is simply a collage of close-up screencaps from the film ;D unlike that of nycx which is more intimate and personal. Those are great desktops! I currently have one that I got from iheartjake. It's Jack laying down with the dog and it says "You have no idea how bad it gets..."
