The Oscar verdict on Brokeback Mountain is in, and yes, many people are disappointed …
… to the don’t ask, don’t tell point.
It was supposed to be a momentous occasion, a time of triumph and vindication for a segment of our community that has taken more than its share of lumps from the not-so-silent, and often brutal majority.
And it was all right there on film!
