I'm sorry Anke, but being Italian, I have to stay true to my heritage. :-*

I think Kelda is a bit optimistic in seeing France in the final, but thanks anyhow, Kel :-*
Well, I'd rather see France get to the final after all, 'cos if they don't, we'll have a France v Germany for 3rd place, and I sure don't want to get into trouble with Anke and Chrissi ;D

No trouble from me ;D 3th or 4th place: doesn't make any difference to me. And I'm very flexible regarding which team I root for. In this year's World Championship it was Australia, Germany and England. Sadly they're all out by now :-\

Well... I'm half Italian, half German.. So I'm a winner either way!! ;D ;D
I'd like a finale between the two blues...

Ha ha ha!
Last Night as I was driving home I went thru the "Little Italy" section of Hartford. The streets were blocked with cars and people waving the Italian flag everywhere! Honking horns and hooping and hollaring. Police cars everywhere trying to control the excitement.
The South-end of Hartford (where I live) used to have a HUGE Italian American community. Although today many have fled to the suburbs. Today it still has a decent amount of its heritage left, but newer immigrants are moving in. Bosnian, Hungarian and Hispanic folks are now moving in. Going to the Super market now is like the United Nations. I love it!
The old timers still come back to the South End to visit their social clubs and Italian bakeries to sit outside and have their coffees.
