Title: Actress Jean Simmons has died
Post by: Jeff Wrangler on January 25, 2010, 10:24:36 am
I heard this sad news over the weekend. I always thought she was beautiful. I remember her most as the evangelist, a sort of Aimee Semple McPherson character, opposite Burt Lancaster in the film Elmer Gantry.

A lovely actress......I can still remember the first movie I ever saw her in, called The Egyptian.

RIP Jean Simmons

I'll always remember her in "Guys and Dolls".  Apparently, some other folks agree:

That's funny, I mostly remember her as the proselytizer who Marlon Brando's character attempts to seduce.  (Love that movie.)

While she's still resisting
