Title: Was this intentional?
Post by: silkncense on April 28, 2006, 12:26:50 pm: I have a picture of Jake & Heath hanging in my work cubicle (thanks to co-workers). This pic was taken in December as the movie was being released (Heath has his mustache / goatee thing).

The boys are standing in front of a pool table. Suprisingly, I just noticed that Heath is wearing a light, tiny striped button up shirt & jeans. Jake is wearing a dark T-shirt & a dark button up denim type long sleeve shirt & jeans. (No cowboy hats!) Do you think they were told what to wear?

Maybe it was subconcsious?!

He said he put on 20 lbs while Michelle was pregnant. I think we're seeing a bit of that in this pic. It's cute.

If so, I suspect that there was plenty of planning that went into the clothes they wore during the photo shoot. So the color choices probably were deliberate... just enough to suggest the characters, without dressing both of them up in cowboy hats.

i see what you mean. i always think of love-handles being on the side. but yes, that little bit of "overhang" is cute on him.

I love that picture of those two but I was never able to pick up a copy (much like the Variety ad). Well, last week, my job was having a book/magazine/DVD/CD sale to benefit the March of Dimes. And do you know what I found at the bottom of a large pile of old mags? That one!
I also got the Esquire with Ennis on the front. Too cool! I have them up in my closet with my 9/11 newpapers and Beatles magazines from when they released the anthology.
