I've been asked (begged, more like it!) to start a meet-up forum for singles. This would likely be a child board within Social Events, or it could also be in People. Participants could write a paragraph about themselves and/or a picture, and the subject would include orientation, general geographic location, and age range. People interested in hooking up could then PM the person. Any thoughts on this?? Thank you!

Lee, I'm wondering, don't we already know those demographics about each other already? Haven't the people who want to be flirting with each other, or more, already been doing that? I'm not against this, I just don't understand how it provides something that isn't already here. Can you help me understand?

Elle, I'm thinking if this were designed correctly it could be a help to the new people, the shy people, and the ones who are just in the process of coming out. There is certainly a demand for it (like I said, they've been begging me!) and where there's a demand, there's a need!!

Lee, I think it's a really nice idea. And, as a single myself ( ::) ) I would consider participating as long as there were some other single-non-straight women participating. I think I may be well out-numbered here by people with other interests and circumstances. :-\

Let's remember that we have quite a few new members and more are joining everyday! Maybe this new service would attract even more singles to BetterMost, to learning about the Brokie experience and sharing it with others!

Great, Gary! In answer to another question, the singles forum would be for people of all orientations, GLBT and S. And it would be for Ms and Fs. Heck, it would be also for Ms (marrieds) Ps (partnered) and Ss (singles)...for those seeking friendships, penpals, whatever!!

This would be an interesting can of beans. Its a great way for people to
meet in a nice environment instead of some of the lesser venues out in the world.
