Have any of you heard about this Planet X deal? Apparently there is a planet out there just beyond Pluto called "X" and its orbit will be closest to Earth in 2012. Once the planet reaches its closest distance from our planet, all kinds of terrible things are supposed to happen. I looked it up on the Internet and the websites I read were rather technical. But what I DID understand was quite scary.

They claim even the ancient Mayan calendars mentioned 2012 as a year of enormous tragedies and then the calendar stops at that year. Kind of spooky really. Some are saying these terrible events will begin in 2008 and get progressively worse each year until we reach 2012.

I really don't understand this, and I was wondering if someone here might have some answers or explanations about it. :)

No, I didn't even know about this, but does this really crazy weather and closely related weather events have anything to do with it ???
