V for Valentine?
Natalie Portman and Jake Gyllenhaal have long denied rumors of romance but these pictures capture tham captivating each other on a sunny afternoon in the West Village. Brokeback Mountain star Gyllenhaal waited for V for Vendetta actress Portman with a dozen tulips. He sat, fidgeted and frequently checked the time, but brightened up with a grin when he spotted his date. They hugged, kissed, then strolled along until arriving for an early dinner at The Spotted Pig on West 11th Street according to eye witnesses.
Inside the Michellin-starred gastro-pub Gyllenhaal must have surprised Portman with the bouquet. She left the restaurant smiling and holding them - an him.
"The guy looks like he's in love," said one witness to the wooing.



Just thought that someone would care.... :)

They've been friends for years these were taken in 2002.  But you know good friends sometimes make the best lovers....works for me they make a cute couple.

On the second picture they look like friends with benefits, don't they? But well, who knows, there's so much BS in the tabloids that one can hardly believe anything. But I think they make a cute couple too.

One minute he is back with the K. Dunst, the next minute he is with the Nichols fella, another minute he is with an 'unnnamed dude', now he is supposedly dating Nathalie P.

They are very cute together, it would be nice to see something develop there.  I'm sure they would make a good go of it.  And, like someone else said, what beautiful children there'd be!   ;)

Thank you! I heard about this on Jake Watch -- okay, don't mock me, the person who runs that site is hysterically sarcastic -- and everyone was acting so pleased and happy about this... I was like, what the fuck kind of Jake Gyllenhaal stalkers are you all?! So I am glad to see someone other than me didn't jump for joy at this news...

No offense to Natalie Portman or anything; she's 1000x better than Kirsten Dunst when it comes to acting.

Seriously though, Natalie is the only woman who doesn't make me jealous at the mention that Jake might be dating her.  I like her a lot and I think they would make a great couple.

Hey, don't think I'm mad that Jake is with a girl and not a guy.   Even if he were openly Gay that would not give me a snowballs chance in hell that he'd look at me.

He is just so handsome and adorable!    You just want to grab him and hug the stuffin right out of him.    Then you want that boyish grin to change into a lustful lear as he grabs you and drags you to the bedroom!    LOL    "C'mere,  S'alright"

Hey, you - get outta my head.  I think you just stole one of my dreams.  And I hear ya there - straight, gay, bi, it don't matter - I wouldn't have a ghost of a chance any which way.  Unless he goes for married women old enough to be his mother who've been around the block a few too many times.

If it helps any, I just checked out Natalie's birthday, and it is coming up - June 9.  Funny that - same birthday as my first longtime boyfriend and my brother's first wife who's still a good friend.  ANYway - maybe they were celebrating early?  One can only hope.  ;)

I'm glad everyone liked that.  Actually, the bathroom image I found on Google and you'll never believe it...it's a dollhouse bathroom!  And he is holding a scrub brush in his hand, it's just too hard to see.
