Here's how they're selling Wyoming for a Brokeback Mountain tour:

Interesting that they did not talk about the fact that two young cowboys met and fell in love in their beautiful mountain setting.

Holy cats and little kittens!
So the Wyoming tourism people are trying to sell the state as a Brokeback Mountain-related tourism destination?
What about all we've heard about how Wyoming residents didn't like the film?
I guess if the tourism industry thinks a buck can be made. ...

Well that is wild cause I too thought the Wyoming residents didn't like and didn't want to be associated with the movie. I thought that "gay" people were not very well liked there. Perhaps something happened when we all visited The Mint Bar in Sheridan. We certainly were well liked by the locals and all the girls were swooning over Henry cause they thought he was a rock star. They thought the rest of use were his entourage. They might just make "same sex marriage" legal there. That will really be something if California ends up being the only state against same sex marriage in the end

Isn't it odd what a few bucks can convince people to do? Maybe that is the best way for gays to finally get what they have
deserved all along. Show them the money.!! How big a force of cash they are excluding by being rude or worse passing their laws
that prevent equality to all. I know for sure I would be perfectly willing to take part in a boycott.....Where those types of actions
are being subjected on people.
-
Heh heh. I always said if we could just get the divorce lawyers to realize how much money they will make from gay divorces, we would have gay marriage in a jiffy. ...
-
This is one of the reasons I hope Adam Lambert is a stratospheric hit. Maybe they will see the openly gay man making money
for everyone he touches. Money can buy a lot of special favors. They will have to court the man to get his concerts in their area....

Thats one way to look at it, and a not so un-realistic way either.....

That "Hot Deals for Dudes" entry under "You Might Also Like" was an LOL for sure.
Of course, we must defend to the death their right to amazingly acrobatic opinions in the pursuit of the almighty moola..... (http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q135/talkstocoyotes/www_MyEmoticons_com__devil.gif)

"Amazingly acrobatic" is right. It's interesting to see how far they stretch to market a place in connection with "a western saga"
a) whose subject dare not speak its name
and
b) wasn't actually filmed there.

Like it was mentioned before, anything for a dollar.
