Hiya,

By chance I came across some "Lego imitates art" like pictures, then I started looking for more and thought I'd share my finds with you. Hope you enjoy and contribute to the thread :).

Paintings by M.C. Escher in Lego:

And I find it poignant that the creator made sure to give his version of Ennis and Jack a long life :). From the website: "I took about the sets I had made up for the photo shoot. I found a place for Lego Jack and Lego Ennis to live on forever. I've put them into a Modular Hill Standard so they can be displayed at Lego shows for all the world to enjoy."

Can you believe I've never seen the Brokeback Lego?  Wow!  He even re-created the Dozy Embrace.  What a labor of love.  And I especially love that Jack and Ennis live on forever.

I've always loved Lego.  My husband still has all his lego from when he was a kid and our son played with them when he was little and, of course, he acquired tons more of his own.  All these great pics make me want to dig the Lego boxes out and play with them!  Thanks, Chrissi!   :)

Some of my own Lego are also still around. Undestroyable that stuff. And so much fun.

Yep - timeless in every way!

Those are awesome! The detail is unbelievable.  It's mind boggling to think of the effort!  And they even included the Porta Potties!     Thanks, Fran!

woho! Looks like Ennis really meant it when he said it was "a one shot thing". Looks like he´s just shot Jack dead!

Thanks for these, Chrissie! Hadn´t seen them before

In England  near the town of Windsor and home to another of the Queens little bijou residences, there is a whole lego village. I loved it more than the kids. I could not get over all the different countries all made from lego.

I used to play with Legos all the time as a kid, but could never make them look like this!
