Title: Going south where it's warm (hopefully)...

It's gotten awfully cold in Germany, so it looks like an extremely good idea to leave for a while. ;D
Our roadtrip starts tomorrow evening (German time). It'll be two and a half weeks with little to no internet access for me, which is good in a way. But, of course, I'll probably geht withdrawal symptoms... ;)

I haven't packed anything yet. Gotta do that tomorrow. Sigh.

What in hell happened to August? August used to be a sommer month. But not this year >:(.

Yes, I live in Rheinland-Pfalz.
300 years ago is too long for you to be called a "Pälzer" (=an inhabitant of Pfalz) :laugh:
Many people from this area emigrated to the New World in former times. It was a poor and rural area. Still rural today.

I just came back today, greeted some relatives, went to a barbecue at my brother's house, put my little girl to bed and... started my computer after an awfully long time without ya guys!!
