Sad to see that in the 21st century - in one of the greatest nations the world has ever seen - women are still fighting this battle and will continue to so long as the church and its teachings influence our society.
Most cultures, in most eras, have viewed women not as adults but as a cross between children and chattel animals. [Women =] Girls — children — are not sophisticated enough to make difficult moral choices unless they are told how.
