We have been tossing around this idea forever.

So I am finally starting the thread.

Here is the place to post those random lines you overhear, and when taken out of context, are completely hilarious!

The rules are simple - you don't post who actually said it nor the context in which it would normally make sense.  Have fun!!

I overheard on the radio that, in addition to hurricanes, now lizards are going to be named!! Huh? I thought lizards had names already!  ::)

Not a good sign when you have to ask. :-X ;D



But it can be an important question! Some years ago my hubby drove all the way to Paris (on business) because someone had not stuffed it all the way in. ;D
A disc on the control unit of a paving machine, that is. They claimed the machine not to be working; hubby asked exactly the same thing over the phone and they assured him they did. So he hopped in a car, drove all the way only to find out they hadn't stuffed it all the way in. ::) With one movement of his thumb he "repaired" the whole, huge machine. :laugh:
