The recent article on ghosting in the NY Times struck a nerve: hundreds of comments. I had no idea this was a real thing, but it's been happening to my younger friends a lot.

I was expecting something paranormal.

thinking back, I don't think I've ever ghosted anyone.
I've been ghosted by guys on the online dating websites. Go on a date, tell they like me and had a good time, and then never get back in touch.
If that's the way they're going to be, I'm better off without them.
