Well, there are ten of us left out of the Exclusive Under 2.000 Post Club and the Ultra-Exclusive 5000+ Post Club, and I want everyone to have their special place to go.
So I'm announcing...

No maids, no waitresses. Just a futon on the floor and some blacklight posters.
A free pair of Birkenstocks for all members. And a bowl of Kashi. Pass the Soy Nog. Welcome!

I just made some miso soup and mung bean loaf.
Come on in and dig in.
Sorry, no forks or knives, just chopsticks. I made the bowls myself, sorry they're a little lopsided.

We do have a couch, if you don't want to sit on the futon on the floor.

Egad, this looks like the Teachers Lounge in High (Priestess) School! :P
*Shudders at the mention of mung bean loaf*
Gawd, I'm only 500 or so posts away. Better rummage in the back of the closet for some duds. This might do.

Oh .. new digs for the Middle
School Echelon people! ;D
Welcome to the neighborhood!
A little favor to ask - If you see a crazy French "lady" around here, armed with a lightsaber, please kindly return her to the Upper Echelon Club, will you? Cheers! She seems a little out of it at the moment.
Well, gotta get back, just popped in to say hello!
Btw, what is mung bean?

Well I don't qualify for this Groovy establishment by virtue of my post count, my hedonistic ways and my total personal abhorance of all things Vegan.....but I am old enough to remember words like groovy, cool, happenin and tie dyed clothes. Siddhartha by Herman Hesse, Jimmy Hendrix and Haight Ashbury ;D and I recognize all those older earth mother types in Whole Foods and Henry's Marketplace every time I go in.

I am in Washington DC, half asleep and facing a hellishly long day so I don't have time to fnd my groovy duds and all...but I am glad to know I have a special club. I am looking forward to being a bit more active (like tomorrow) when things get back to normal.
Peace and love, dudes.

hey, fancy meeting you here, Leslie, glad you got in safe!
I am up abominably early (11 a.m.) and Clarissa, save your Birki's, cause I not only have a pair on my feet, but I have ten pairs in the other room. I am in the Land O Birkenstocks after all.
thanks for the invite!
-
I am a birk girl myself, but I am wearing dansko clogs today because I am supposed to be dressed up. Ha ha! That's about as far as I go towards corporate. There are some advantages of owning your own business. LOL

What a nice place you got here Elle! Can I join even if I am not a birk girl? ;D
-
aw man, can't we let Goadra in, after all... we're groovy.
