The Brokeback Falcon by coffeecat33 - updated
« on: May 17, 2007, 11:26:05 am »
This fan fic is a spoof of "The Maltese Falcon" with Ennis cast in the Humphrey Bogart role as private eye Sam Spade.  ;D

Title: The Brokeback Falcon
A fan fiction noir by coffeecat33

Rating:
PG-13 for adult situations and an occasional murder
Genre: A very un-serious Jack and Ennis AU!AU
Summary: Loosely based on the movie, “The Maltese Falcon” written by Dashiell Hammett and starring Humphrey Bogart as Sam Spade. Ennis is cast as Sam and Jack is the "missing person."
Warnings: I’m trying to be funny.
Disclaimer: I am appropriating material from all over the place. I owe thanks to Annie Proulx, Brokeback Mountain, Jake, Heath and Dashiell Hammett. If only I made money on this – which I don’t – I could buy a latté from Starbucks. Hopefully this is some high-class entertainment.
For what it’s worth, most of what follows doesn’t make sense.

Location: in a City by a Bay where it’s always night.
Circa: 1940

You are welcome, Marie. It's been a while since I updated this fan fic, because RL slammed me, but I have NOT forgotten it.
