LOL I've gotten a lot of littleguitar's lately so I just wanted to say, hello I'm Mandy   ::)

Yeah, I know I've been largely absent for the past several days, not posting much, reading a little (traveling up and down the east coast can take a lot out of me), but I didn't forget your name, Mandy!

But that is funny and strange...I wonder if we are out of touch somehow with each other? I know someone talked this morning about the slowdown in traffic. Some people haven't shown their faces for a while (again not that I should really know, or say anything, since I'm kinda guilty too), like where is Moni? Daniel? Kelda? I've been meaning to do a bigger check in about this, but it will have to wait--I really need sleep after this whirlwind weekend I just finished yesterday. I need a fucking vacation from my weekend! More to come at a later, but hopefully soon, date.

Of course I remember your name!  Although we haven't chatted extensively, I think of you as one of "my people".  Scary, huh?

I loved your story about how you got your name.  I always think fondly about our little Mandolin whenever I see your name.

Or perhaps we should just refer to you as Captain Corelli?

LOL yeah, people have been getting Andrew and I mixed up since way back in the original BBM imdb board days!  I'm glad I posted this, I kind of did it as a joke but it seems like a lot of people were confused!  :)

Hiya Mandy!

      I find it helpful when people put their name under their Avatar picture.   Unless of course your name is part of your screen name!     (um, like mine)    ::)


    Quite a few people use avatars of Jake or Heath (which is great) but when the screen name doesn't yield a clue to the persons name or sex, then it starts getting confusing.   ???

    Know how when you see a litter of kittens or puppies and you want to know their sex?  You pick them up and flip them over to look!      That might get awkward to do in New York at the Brunch!     He he he!      Just kidding!   From what I've seen so far from Avatars we have a good looking group, male and female.    :-*

Mandy - I'm good  ;D How did all your school work go?? I finished exams last week *YES!* and I get my marks back tomorrow *nervous & excited*. We both graduate soon, that's perdy cool  :)

Me too. Partly it'll be because nothing much has been happening in BBM World. No new DVD or Oscar scandal. I've been doing a lot of other stuff, but I still think of you all as friends - especially the ones I plan to see in August-September, in Vancouver/Bellingham? Seattle and SF.

My favorite nickname is hpie.  Hee hee.  I went to a preppy prep school where all the girls with their lacrosse-hewn calves and abs would prance about calling each other by their last names (like the boys at the boys' school across the street, because of course to be truly prep is to be male, and the next best thing is to strive toward androgyny in at least certain regards) or nasty preppy nicknames like Muffy and Buffy, and I always wished I had a name that could be nicknamified.  (The only thing you can really do with Sarah is Sally -- blaa! not my name!)   During one of my many, um, embroidering-the-truth phases, I convinced a few of the popular girls that my real name was Saraline, because my parents couldn't decide between Sarah and Caroline, so my name Sarah was in fact short for something.  Then I plunged back into dorkdom when I admitted it wasn't true.

Isn't that funny how we'd rather use usernames for some people, but real names for others? Please no one call me cmr! I'm Courtney! (Courtpie is good too though...)
