Someone above mentioned Rufus, and that's my suggestion too. He's adorable, and Rufus seems just the name for him. Glad you decided to have a new dog in your lives. :) Best wishes to you 3!

It is a great name, but it's too close to Rupert...lot's of people msitakenly called Rupert, Rufus.

How about Teddy (as in Thompson)?  You can call him Theodore when he's bad.

I like the "Teddy" part, but maybe the "Theodore" part is a little too "Leave it to Beaver"-ish?  ???

Though it also suggests, perhaps, "Alvin"?  :)
