Attn Brokies, The American Film Institute is reviewing

films that should be added to the 100 best fiilms ever made.  I registered at AFI and voted for BBM awhile back explaining why it should be in the top 100.   There is still time to register and vote for BBM before the show airs  June 20th/9PM EST/CBS network.   I did so on 1/31/07 and it's a very easy process. I seldom receive e-mails from AFI so it's not like they are going to hassle you with weekly msgs about upcoming events, blah, blah, blah.

I saw on the IMDB.com board that BBM has been getting alot of votes at AFI.  Please take the time to ensure that BBM is included in this revised listing of 100 grest film.

Here is the thread on IMDB.com about the AFI process.  One of the posters says that TVGUIDE is recommending that BBM and three  other films are worthy of being added to the film registery.  Good for them.   I don't have a TVGUIDE in front of me, but it's say see page 59.

AFI website to download the ballot is

I don't think you have to be an American to vote.  Well, what will they know?  ;)

Thanks for posting this reminder, Karl.  I also voted awhile back, probably at your suggestion.  I sure hope BBM makes the list!  It should be in the Top Ten, of course, but I'd be happy just to see it somewhere on there.  8)
